About the event
Keen to explore new routes and feel independent in your training and racing? This course is the perfect introduction to map reading. You'll gain the skills and confidence to plan and follow routes and learn how to get back on track if your adventure gets a little too adventurous.
The course will be delivered by qualified mountain leaders and fell runners Bethan Logan and Brett Mahoney. With over twenty years combined experience delivering navigation training to walkers, runners and Duke of Edinburgh students, the team will talk you through some common pitfalls and enlighten you on their top map hacks to overcome them. By the end of the day we hope your map will become your best friend and you'll feel empowered to start planning your next adventure.
